Shalom! My name is Yossi Rozenman, a highly experienced freelance technical translator from English and Spanish into Hebrew and technical writer in Hebrew.

Background

Since 1992 I work directly and as subcontractor with major and small high-tech companies – such as Microsoft, Intel, HP, Lexmark and Dell – as well as major translation agencies in Israel and around the world.

My physics and astronomy studies in Tel Aviv University and my interest in diverse technological fields gave me a solid technical grounding.

Expert in localization

During these years I specialized and became expert in software and Web localization, including Web applications, and acquired vast experience in issues of adapting the layout, interface and text into Hebrew. For this purpose I also developed several utilities that streamline the localization process.

Thanks to my extensive knowledge in Hebrew localization, I was invited to give a lecture in the ITA conference that took place in Jerusalem in 2006.

Language specialist

Since 2003 I am working as Language Specialist for Microsoft through Bowne Global Solutions (now Lionbridge). In this position I manage Microsoft terminology and perform Quality Assurance of translations and DTP.
